PNG Point Of Sale helps businesses in Papua New Guinea run their stores. To do that we handle your business data with care. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect and how we use it.
1. What we collect
When you sign up we collect your name, email address, business name and contact details. When you use PNG Point Of Sale we store the business data you enter, such as products, sales, customers, stock and staff accounts. We also keep basic technical records like login times and device type to keep your account safe.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to run the service: processing sales, syncing offline data, sending receipts, producing reports and sending the monthly report emails you opt in to. We also use it to answer support requests and to send important notices about your subscription. We do not sell your data to anyone.
3. Your customers' data
Loyalty customer names, phone numbers and purchase history belong to your business. We store them only so your POS can work. We never contact your customers or share their details with other businesses.
4. Where your data lives
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers protected by encryption in transit and at rest. Access inside our team is limited to staff who need it to support you, and every support access to your account is recorded in your system logs.
5. Sharing
We only share data with service providers that help us run PNG Point Of Sale, such as cloud hosting and email delivery, and only as much as they need. We may disclose information if the law in Papua New Guinea requires it.
6. Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your subscription is active. If you cancel, you can ask us to export your data, and we delete it after 90 days unless the law requires us to keep certain records longer.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Email hello@pngpos.com and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and email organization admins before the change takes effect.
