Terms of Service

Welcome to PNG Point Of Sale. These terms explain the rules for using our point-of-sale and inventory service, and what you can expect from us. Please read them carefully, as they form an agreement between your business and PNG Point Of Sale.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of PNG Point Of Sale. By signing up for an account, inviting staff, or using the app in any way, you agree to these terms on behalf of your business. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Your account
You must give accurate business and contact details when you sign up. You are responsible for keeping your login details secret and for everything done under your account and your staff accounts. Tell us straight away if you think someone has accessed your account without permission. You must be authorised to act for your business to open an account.
3. Acceptable use
Use PNG Point Of Sale only for running your own legitimate business. You must not use the service to break the law, record false sales or tax figures, misuse another business's data, or interfere with the platform. You must not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or attempt to access parts of the system you are not entitled to.
4. Subscriptions and billing
PNG Point Of Sale is offered on Core, Pro and Enterprise plans. New businesses start on a one-month free trial. After the trial your chosen plan begins and renews for its billing period until you cancel. Plan limits (such as the number of stores, registers, users and report recipients) apply to your tier. Fees are quoted in PNG Kina and are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
5. Non-payment and suspension
If a subscription is not paid, expires, or is cancelled, your account may move to a past-due, expired or suspended state and access to the app may be locked until the account is brought up to date. Your data is kept during this time so you can restore access by settling your account.
6. Your data and content
The business data you enter, such as products, sales, customers, stock and staff records, belongs to your business. You grant us permission to store and process it only so we can provide the service. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to store any customer or staff information you enter. Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
7. Our intellectual property
PNG Point Of Sale, including the software, design, branding and documentation, belongs to us. These terms give you a limited right to use the service while your subscription is active, and nothing more. You may not use our name or logo without written permission.
8. Service availability
We work hard to keep PNG Point Of Sale running, but we do not guarantee it will be available without interruption. The app includes an offline mode so you can keep selling during internet outages, and queued sales sync when you reconnect. We may carry out maintenance or update features from time to time.
9. Data backups and loss
We take daily backups of your data and you can export your records at any time. Even so, you are responsible for keeping your own copies of important records. We are not liable for data lost due to your own actions, such as clearing browser data before offline sales have synced.
10. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, do not pay, or put the platform or other users at risk. If an account is closed, we follow the deletion process described in our Privacy Policy, including a grace period before data is permanently removed.
11. Limitation of liability
PNG Point Of Sale is provided on an 'as is' basis. To the fullest extent allowed by the law of Papua New Guinea, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of data arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service grows. If we make an important change we will post the new version here and email organization admins before it takes effect. Continuing to use PNG Point Of Sale after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law and contact
